Who We Are at Smart Cleaning, LLC
About Us
Smart Cleaning, LLC was founded in 2016 by Andres and Berta Chopite, a couple with international experience and deep ties to Bloomington. Originally from Venezuela, they moved to Bloomington in 1980 for graduate studies at Indiana University. After several years back in Venezuela, they returned to Bloomington in 2008 to be near their children and grandchildren.
Berta, a distinguished former Spanish professor, began cleaning homes in her spare time, and her reputation for excellence led to the growth of Smart Cleaning. Andres balanced his role at Cook Pharmaceuticals with supporting Berta’s growing business.
Today, Smart Cleaning is a successful family-owned company, offering top quality residential and commercial cleaning services with a focus on quality and family values.
